About Avia Propeller Ltd.

Avia was founded in 1919 by engineers Pavel Beneš and Miroslav Hajn as a Company for Aircraft design, production and repair. At present Avia Propeller is part of the MT-Propeller Group and well known in the world of general aviation as the manufacturer of propellers for single and twin engine aircraft.

Avia Propeller operates out of its main office in Prague, close at the Airport Letnany (LKLT), in the Czech Republic, where highly skilled people are producing the highest quality of aircraft propellers.

Several service stations are available for customers throughout the whole world.

Our propellers bring you the unique solution of in-field removable blades.

Easy installation because separate hub and blade installation.

This makes in-field blade replacements easier.

Also shipping and storage of such a propeller is much easier and cheaper compared to the fixed blade option.

P-51 Mustang propeller

The first P-51 Mustang vintage propeller blade licensed by Hamilton Standard was manufactured in Avia

1999

New Company Avia Propeller

Establishment of a new company, Avia Propeller, to manufacture propellers with Mr Gerd Muehlbauer as the majority shareholder

Validation of the EASA Major Change of the Propeller V508 Type Series in Br

We are pleased to announce that ANAC TCDS No. EH-1999T07 has been extended to include additional Power (597 kW / 800 HP) and RPM ratings (2080 RPM) for our 108-inch 3-blade propeller V508 type series.

This TCDS update further expands the approved operating range of the propeller and provides our customers with greater flexibility in aircraft applications.

The 4-bladed AVIA Propellers on the AT-502 series provide equal or better performance data compared with the Legacy STC 4-blade propeller, increase of Static Thrust up to 430 lbs for PT6A-34AG engine and up to 200 lbs for PT6A-140AG engine compared to the existing Legacy 4-blade propeller STC, RPM reduction from 2200 RPM to 2080 RPM for applicable engines for reduced noise and higher efficiency...
