EASA and FAA STC for Air Tractor with Avia V508H/108/A
As the market requires more propeller options, especially for the AT-402/-502 series, MT-Propeller – and its sister company, Avia Propeller – designed and STC’ed the Avia V508H/108/A propeller model. This propeller has a steel hub and aluminum blades that can be removed in-field without disassembling the propeller hub. This makes in-field blade replacements due to foreign object damage (FOD) easier.
The propeller hub and blade combination has been proven in service with more than 3,000 Avia propeller systems, especially operated in remote areas.
The weight of the Avia Propeller is not higher than the standard aluminum propellers certified for this application.
The MT-Propeller group integrated Avia Propeller in 1999 and manufactures successfully propeller systems for the LET-410 aircraft and AG systems. Beside this, Avia Propeller is approaching more than 20,000 manufactured governors and controls for piston and turbine applications.
